Yeah, I changed my online status to "hidden" when I'm logged-in. But methinks that Tex can see me even when I'm lurking. I don't go around checking people out. But when I see that quite a few are viewing the forum, it's fun to see where they are. There's many Europeans lurking as non-members. It just shows a general location. That's all.

Any forum administrator can do it. It doesn't zoom in on privacy things like what street you're at. It's ISP based. If you were to see where my IP is, it'd show me as being in Minneapolis. Truth is, I'm 2 and a half hours northwest of there. So, It's not all that accurate all the time.
It's just interesting to see where the non-members are. Europe, Russia, China, South America, the Far East and Australia. We actually have many who like to lurk in here.
