Tea
What is it with the British and tea? Is it really a prevalent thing there? Over here, it's about as common as a soft drink. It seems to be a big thing there in the UK. Maybe I'm wrong. Enlighten me.

Re: Tea
lol. Yes we love tea and have done for over 200 years. Though we do go through phases of coffee obsession and tea obsession. These days there are coffee shops everywhere; go back 20 years and the same would be true of tea shops.
I tend to drink more tea at this time of year because I find it more refreshing in warmer weather. Come October, and I'll barely touch a cup of tea until about March time.

Re: Tea
I only have a cup of coffee during my evening classes these days. Otherwise I drink iced tea year round.

My vice, day and night. Decaf at night though. I hate coffee. Tea isn't at the top of my list.

Re: Tea
I can't stand coffee, I'm a tea drinker. A good English Breakfast Tea or Earl Grey and I'm happy. Twinings, if possible.

Re: Tea
There's a story behind my fetish for Diet Coke. Back in 1989, I quit smoking (lasted a year and a half). I gained a ton of weight because of quitting. To lose weight, I started dieting and switched to Diet Coke. That stuck with me and I haven't gone back to sugar flavored Coke since.

I love Earl Grey but rarely have it, I see it as an occasional indulgence.

I always have Earl Grey on stock, I see the occasional English Breakfast Tea as my occasional indulgence. I also drink other varieties of black tea, but those 2 are by far my favorite. I like my tea almost as much as I like my beer.
