Go Outside and Play!

Sad, isn't it...

Yeah, the biggest parenting compliment I ever got was from the children's pediatrician. she walked in and saw them sitting on the bed in their shorts (It was summer) and gasped. She scared the daylights out of me, but she approached them and said "I've heard of this. These things on their knees are bruises and scars. These children play OUTSIDE...they don't spend their time infront of a TV." I thought hubby and I were the norm for parenting, but apparently we were the exception. I was in college at the time and when classes were out until Hubby went to bed, I was mom and wife....we played outside and WALKED everywhere...they were very healthy children and are so as adults.
